Hire a Caterham from £150 a day including comprehensive insurance.
Thanks again for such an excellent day today. We had a great time on the fantastic roads, and we both couldn't think of a car we would rather drive them in than a Caterham. It is an excellent car, loads of fun on real roads at (mostly) legal speeds..

Thanks very much for the pictures. We had a brilliant time in your Caterham. Recommend it to all Caterham fans.
It was lovely meeting you both we thought it was a really nice personal touch, having a chat about our day afterwards, and of course the wine was a bonus!.
We hope that you do well in your venture kind regards

"We hired the Supersport 135 for a day and had a fantastic time. You haven't driven a performance car until you have driven a Caterham! It's an incredibly intense and rewarding experience. Driving through the spectacular scenery of North Yorkshire is probably the best way to experience the thrill. We will definitely hire a car from Scott again, next time for a full weekend. The only downside is that after driving one you will desperately want to own one!"

“ Simply unbeatable - incredible car and stunning roads in the North York Moors (watch out for sheep!) , the hills around Castle Howard and on to the Coast. We did the lot, and we’re still grinning from ear to ear. Sam loved driving it too. Scott does a fab coffee as well and his enthusiasm is infectious. We can see why now. We want a Caterham!! ”

“ A Birthday present for me (Colin). Scott and Lynda gave us some mapped out routes. We chose what turned out to be amazing driving roads up on the moors. We passed some weird massive holes in the ground. The recommendations on pubs and restaurants were spot on. We were worried that the car might be a bit slower after the giant fish and chips we had at Goathland J Maybe we’ll do a light picnic next time. Just the best day out and we’ll be back.”

...now seriously pining to be back behind the wheel of that brilliant little car!

The idea was to forget about traffic and congestion, and just enjoy the driving experience. ..

I could have one of these little cars and forget the stresses of everyday life, the car is infectious everyone who got a taken for a hot run was grinning from ear to ear as they pulled themselves from the passenger seat.

A truly entertaining sports car in the vein of its original Lotus 7 ancestor, the Caterham 7 is about as much fun as you can have driving.
Built continuously since the 1960s it's evolved to include new engines though time, but in any form it retains its lightweight and nimble handling formula that makes any car feel leaden in comparison.
The Seven feels as if it was bred for racing; its tiny steering wheel responding immediately to input, the short-throw gearshift being positive and throttle response lightning fast. A quick drive along twisty lanes highlights the Seven's immensely likeable character .
Buying one is still a hugely frivolous, impractical purchase. But if you enjoy driving then you'll undoubtedly enjoy every second behind the wheel of a Caterham. Any Caterham. - Auto Express

“You can actually see the suspension working, and the brakes too, and when you turn the wheel the road wheels move, right in front of your eyes. You can place this car bang-on target every time. Not just near the white line, as you would in a painfully slow Lambo or a pedestrian Ferrari, but bang-on that line.
I’ve always assumed that a car like this would feel like an extension of your hands and feet, but it’s the other way round. I felt like a part of it, an organic component but a component nevertheless.
You use a normal car to take you somewhere and it tries to make that journey as pleasant as possible. But you would never use a Caterham as a means of transport because this is driving for the buzz of it, and as a result you’re not a passenger… This is the real deal”
Jeremy Clarkson
“ To our mind, the Caterham is a bit of an enigma. Designed by the famous Colin Chapman of Lotus, 50 years ago, it has evolved as a high performance sports car, but its spirit, unlike almost any other car, remains curiously and magnificently unchanged. Don’t take our word for it….”
